Using the Editor

The Blay Interactive Video editor provides a powerful yet intuitive workspace for creating engaging interactive content. Let's explore the key components of the editor interface.
Title Area
At the top of the editor, you'll find:
- The project title ("Interactive Video" by default)
- Edit icon to rename your project
- Last update information
- "Complete" button to finalize your project when you're done editing
Settings Panel

The Settings panel on the left sidebar allows you to configure fundamental properties of your interactive content:
- Canvas Settings:
- Choose from preset dimensions (e.g., 9:16 [360 x 640 px])
- Manually set custom width (W) and height (H) in pixels
- Select the appropriate aspect ratio for your target platform (mobile, desktop, etc.)
- Background Music:
- Add music that will play continuously throughout your interactive content
- Upload audio files by clicking the upload button or using drag and drop
- Background music will loop automatically while your content is playing
Preview and Timeline

The central area of the editor consists of the preview screen and timeline:
- Preview Screen:
- Displays your content at the current timeline position
- Allows you to see how your interactive elements will appear at specific moments
- Serves as a canvas where you can directly place and arrange elements
- Playback Controls:
- Play button to preview your content from the current position
- Left and right arrow buttons to move frame by frame through your content
- Zoom controls on the right to expand or contract the timeline view
- Timeline Management:
- If you have multiple clips, use the clip selector on the left side of the timeline to navigate between them
- Remove specific clips using the delete button on the right of each clip
- Timeline shows the duration and position of all elements in your project
